This documentary is about “Climb Without Limits,” Bonner Paddock’s expedition to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and push the limits of his body. Bonner has Cerebral Palsy, which affects his gait and his sense of balance. He is climbing the nearly 20,000 ft. peak — the world’s highest freestanding mountain — to encourage people to always push their limits and to raise money for a United Cerebral Palsy Center for Children. Bassett is a writer and director whose most recent film, The Line, follows a father and son on a different sort of trek, across the US-Mexico border and into the dangerous Arizona desert. It was an official selection at Whistler Film Festival, AFI-Dallas International Film Festival, Palm Springs Festival of Shorts, Tel Aviv Student Film Festival, and HBO’s New York International Latino Film Festival, among others. Bassett has an MFA in film production from the Dodge College at Chapman University.

He worked with Kent as Supervising Sound Editor on The Line and several other short films.
